Our Mission
Our mission is to empower amputees by providing resources, compassionate support, and opportunities to enhance their quality of life. We are dedicated to fostering independence, promoting inclusion, and advocating for innovation in prosthetic care and accessibility. Through advocacy, education, and community-building, we strive to create a world where amputees can overcome challenges, embrace opportunities, and live life without limits.
Impact Goals
Over the next two years, our aim is to help at least 200 amputees gain independence through mobility devices and support services. With your help, we can transform lives and create a world where no amputee feels limited by their circumstances.
Charles L. Wattley: Co-Founder
Charles L. Wattley brings over 40 years of real estate expertise to his role as Co-Founder of Double Amputee Too! Foundation. His journey took an unexpected turn when he faced two life-altering surgeries—losing a leg below the knee and five toes. During his recovery, Charles experienced what he calls a "Jonah moment"—a divine calling to establish a ministry for amputees.
Despite initially resisting this new direction and attempting to return to his extensive real estate career, Charles couldn't ignore the profound need he witnessed. His personal experience as a double amputee provided unique insight into the challenges faced by those who have lost limbs. Today, Charles channels his business acumen and personal journey into providing mobility devices and support services to amputees, helping them rediscover purpose and independence.
Before establishing the foundation, Charles was a respected figure in New York real estate, having founded and led several successful companies including Wattley Real Estate, Wattley Worldwide LLC, and Wattley Construction Company LLC. His expertise in structuring creative deals, including tax-free 1031 exchanges and financing, earned him a loyal client base and industry recognition.
